Han and Patrick are two of the sweetest people I've ever had the chance to work with. From the beginning, their energy and joyfulness was infectious and radiated everywhere they went. After almost signing with a darker, moodier hotel, Han admitted it didn't feel quite right. Patrick's immediate response? "Then let's keep looking." That deep respect and open communication defined every step of their planning journey and set the tone for their wedding day.
Hand-Drawn Details
With Han’s drawing talents and creativity, we incorporated custom artwork into every aspect of the wedding — from the save-the-dates and invitations to all the day-of paper goods. When it came time to choose a backdrop design for their sweetheart table, no pre-made patterned drapes quite fit the vision. Our solution? Han created an original drawing that we had custom printed, giving them a beautiful, one-of-a-kind backdrop they could take home at the end of the night.

Colorful, Wildflower-Inspired Florals
One thing Han and Patrick knew from the beginning was that they weren’t glam, all-white floral wedding people. They wanted lots of color and a loose, garden-like feel, with each table having its own unique vibe that reflected the wild beauty of nature.
We used uniquely shaped bud vases and ikebana-style arrangements paired with colorful tapered candles, strategically placed around the room and on every table to create a wild meadow atmosphere. The mix of textures, shapes, and colors gave the space an effortless, organic look that felt both lively and intimate.
As guests entered, they were greeted by the warm glow of candlelight and the fresh scent of blooms—stepping into what felt like a glowing, vibrant garden full of life and celebration.

Cultural Elements
Han and Patrick’s wedding was a joyful fusion of Vietnamese and Indian traditions, woven seamlessly into the celebration from start to finish. Han changed into a modern áo dài for the reception, honoring her Vietnamese heritage with grace and elegance. Patrick’s side of the family brought the energy with a lively Bollywood dance performance that had the entire room cheering.
Guests enjoyed sweet treats with a twist — bubble tea served in cups with custom stickers designed by the couple — and a decadent kunafa dessert as a nod to Patrick’s cultural background. These meaningful touches weren’t just beautiful additions to the day; they reflected the couple’s shared respect for one another’s traditions and their excitement to celebrate both cultures in one unforgettable night.

A Night Dedicated to Guests: With a Game Room and All
From the start, Han and Patrick made it clear that their wedding wasn’t just about celebrating their love — it was about making sure every single guest felt comfortable, welcomed, and seen. They created spaces and moments with their guests in mind, from a cozy game room stocked with board games for anyone needing a break from the dance floor, to visiting every single table during the reception to personally say hello and thank each guest for coming.
One of the most memorable touches was a 20-minute live performance early in the evening, where the couple sang for their family and friends. It was their way of sharing a piece of themselves with the people who had supported them throughout their journey, and it set the tone for a night full of connection, joy, and heartfelt appreciation.

The Dance Floor & Grand Exit
Once the formalities wrapped, the dance floor came alive. With a DJ specializing in Indian music, the energy never dipped — blending Bollywood beats with crowd favorites that kept guests moving late into the night. Laughter, singing, and joyful shouts filled the room as friends and family celebrated side by side.
To close out the evening, Han and Patrick planned a grand exit that was as joyful as the rest of their day. Surrounded by cheering loved ones, they made their way out in a swirl of celebration, ending the night exactly as it began — with love, excitement, and the happiest energy.

A Celebration to Remember
Han and Patrick’s wedding was more than just a beautiful day — it was a true reflection of who they are as a couple: warm, thoughtful, and joyfully vibrant. Every detail, from the hand-drawn sweetheart table backdrop to the wildflower-inspired florals and heartfelt cultural traditions, was chosen with love and intention. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, they created a celebration that honored their story, their heritage, and the people who mean the most to them.
It was a night filled with color, laughter, and connection — the kind of wedding that guests will talk about for years to come, and one we were so honored to help bring to life.
