A Coastal Vision with Cultural Heart at The Peach Orchard

Inspired by light blue and white tones, Audrey and Cheng envisioned a romantic, coastal feel brought to life through lush florals and candlelight. The design stayed airy and timeless, but never sterile—every element was chosen to feel inviting and intentional. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this would be a night that balanced beauty with meaning.

As a Vietnamese bride and Chinese groom, honoring family and heritage was essential. One of the most meaningful moments of the reception was chào bàn, when the couple visited each table to greet and toast their guests—an intimate tradition that reinforced how deeply community mattered to them.

Show-Stopping Wedding Design Moments

The reception design featured two standout moments that transformed the space. A custom circular floral ceiling installation—created specifically for this wedding—floated above the dance floor, layered with white and blue hydrangeas for a soft, cloud-like effect. Beneath it, a light blue and white checkered dance floor grounded the space with a playful yet elevated touch.

Candles flickered throughout the room, adding warmth and romance, while the overall layout encouraged guests to linger, connect, and celebrate fully.

Food, Entertainment, and Personal Wedding Details

Dinner was served family-style with multi-course dishes that reflected the couple’s backgrounds and love of sharing a meal together. During cocktail hour, guests were invited to play a “Guess the First Dance” game—with a $50 prize on the line—which added an interactive, lighthearted start to the evening.

And because no celebration is complete without a late-night surprise, In-N-Out burgers made an appearance—a nostalgic nod to Cheng’s Bay Area roots that guests enthusiastically welcomed.

A Cinematic K-Drama–Inspired Photo Moment

After sunset, we quietly pulled Audrey and Cheng away for a late-night photo session. The result? Cinematic, romantic images that felt straight out of a K-drama—moody, intimate, and effortlessly cool. It was the perfect way to close out a day that was equal parts heartfelt and unforgettable.

Audrey and Cheng’s wedding wasn’t about trends or traditions for tradition’s sake—it was about telling their story in a way that felt honest, joyful, and deeply personal. From cultural rituals to playful design details, every choice reflected who they are and where they come from.

We’re so honored to have brought Audrey and Cheng's wedding to life, and to create a celebration that their guests—and families—will remember for years to come.
